Happy (Belated) Valentine's Day!

I hope you all had an awesome Valentine's Day! Ours was spent at home with our babies. Perfection, to be honest! We did some crafts with Gracie and cuddled with baby Art. We also took some photos of them to put in their scrapbooks later on. Gracie is a little ham in front of the camera, as you can see above. I love, love, love photographing my baby girl. She is so full of personality and that smile is everything!

(Look how much he's grown!)

Baby Art is not as fond of the camera, but it's understandable...he is just two months old. He may not be fond of the camera, but I have so much fun taking pictures of him! I loved dressing him up in his little Valentine's Day knit outfit and all the other cute baby boy outfits. The little suspenders and bow tie were the cutest and I added the hearts to his pants to give it the Valentine's Day theme. It took about 1 hour to get a couple of photos of him, but taking care of a toddler while trying to take photos of a newborn is a tough task. We ended up having to do individual photos but hopefully next time we try we can get some of the two of them together.

It's been hard getting as many photos as I would want of baby Art because Gracie wants to touch him or move him or get into some type of mischief while I am trying to photograph him! So I end up postponing photos until the next time. It's one of the reasons why I didn't get as many newborn photos as I wish I had of him, aside from the iphone photos that are just not the same :/ Now I understand why you hear so many parents say that the second child doesn't get as many photos taken as the first child. That's why I made it my mission to set time aside to focus on taking photos of him for Valentine's Day and they came out amazing! I will be sharing more very soon, once I get a chance to edit some.

Wow! Just realized how much I typed about a simple thing but I guess now that I am a mom, I can really go on and on about them! I never knew I would turn into such a parent :P I love it, though and I love these two little people so much!

I hope you all have a great week!

Wow what a big change in both of them. I remember when you said that Gracie was good with your phone camera but the minute you busted out the real camera, she'd cry. Now look at her! I love the middle one. It reminds me of me with the hands on her cheeks. LOL That's a classic pose my Mom would put me in too. haha And Baby Art in his little suspenders and bow tie. What a cutie! So glad you had a wonderful Valentine's day and took the time to celebrate all the love that you have in your life. <3

Lol that's true! She still has her days when she wants nothing to do with the camera, but since she's been seeing us take photos of her baby brother, she makes sure she also has her photo taken :P
