Griffith Park Engagement

Letty & Luis ~ Engaged!
Los Angeles, California

Letty and Luis had their engagement session at Griffith Park. I loved that they decided to make the session more them by incorporating a 1966 Mustang that Luis and his uncle have worked on. The car was beautiful and I loved using it for photos! I can't wait for them to take photos with it on their wedding day at the end of this year! Check out some of their photos below:

Behind the scene: Men will be men! I thought the car was beautiful from the outside, but, of course, Art had to see the engine and Luis was all for it :) Art asked me to put "it sounds as good as it looks." ;)

Downtown Los Angeles Engagement Session

Kelsey & Joshua ~ Engaged!
Union Station & Arts District ~ Los Angeles

I am was so excited to photograph Kelsey and Joshua's engagement session and to get to photograph their wedding next year. You see, Kelsey is the sister of one of our past brides, Lynsey. You can see Lynsey and Matthew's wedding by clicking HERE. It's always such an honor to get to photograph another member of the family of a past couple. It makes me so happy and it's so rewarding to know they loved our work that much. I also love seeing their family and friends again and getting to photograph them once more. Art and I had fun photographing Kelsey and Joshua at Union Station and we also went to different spots near the LA River. They are such a sweet couple and I can totally see the love between them <3 Now I really can't wait for their wedding next year!

And because we're Dodger fans, you know I had to include this one!

This behind the scene shot is not of Art or me. It's a cute dog that happened to just be hanging out at the window of his second story home! I thought it was so cute, sitting there looking so majestic :P

Los Angeles Cake Smash Photos

Child Photography Session
Los Angeles, CA

Happy monday and Cinco de Mayo! I have a 1 year birthday cake smash session to share with you! I love all the pink in this photo session! I also loved the garland Gabriela made for her baby's cake smashing photos. I loved how she used lace and burlap. I liked the contrast between the two. Also, for those who like the cake, Gabriela got it at Porto's Bakery. Ok, now on to the photos!

She was out of there!

Time for an outfit change! This is a must with every little princess! One outfit is just not enough!

I loved that as soon as we put down these letters baby girl picked the "O" up :)

I enjoyed putting this post together, not only because I love cake smash sessions, but because this little one was so adorable and funny! Usually I do photos of Art and I behind the scenes, but this time I have to do some of this little cutie. You see, as soon as we got there she started giving Art the evil eye. It was so funny to me because all kids are usually drawn to Art and think he is the funniest, while I am just the camera lady to them. Well, this time baby girl was all smiles with me and kept Art at bay by frowning at him. Her mom said that she's like that with most males because she is such a daddy's girl. It's funny also because our little one is the same way. She is very expressive with her little eyebrows. Anyway, here are two photos that I took of her catching Art trying to get closer to us. In the bottom photo she had only seen the top of his head move from behind the counter and she was ready for him! Too funny!

Every time she frowned at Art she would turn around and give me a smile! SO cute!!! Even Art thought it was so funny :P

I hope you guys have a beautiful Monday! xoxo, Nat
