I am so happy that the 31st is finally here! I love blogging, but I have to admit that trying to blog every single day was hard! I missed blogging a total of 3 days. I thought I would only miss 1 day, but, hey, what can I do about it now?! I can't wait to photograph the winners, though! I will be sure to blog their sessions.

I don't think I will be blogging every single day now, but I will try to do every other day. I would love to promise you guys that I am going to blog every day, but even with free sessions on the line I was not able to do it! However, I will be blogging a ton of weddings coming up so be on the lookout for those!

Have a great night, everybody!

Today was a good day!

Sorry, internet, for the down-in-the-dumps post last night. It's amazing what some ice cream, good night's sleep, and photographing a wedding can do for you! I feel great and yesterday's negativity is out the window. There is no room for that in my life!

Anyway, I need to catch some zzzzzz because tomorrow is a busy day for us!

Here's a photo of yours truly at today's wedding. I love, love, love today's couple. They are absolutely awesome! Can't wait to share their photos with you!

(Sorry for the "deer caught in headlights" look. I rather be behind the camera!)

Times like these...

...make me crave ice cream. You know, days when all you want to do is tune everyone out. Days when everything seems to go exactly how it shouldn't. Days when you question your decisions. Days when you can't find the answer you need. Yeah, those days suck, but ice cream makes it a little better.

In reality, if I put things into perspective, the day could be much worse! I could be lonely. This is just one day when things seem to go completely wrong, but at least all the days before and hopefully the days ahead will be a lot better. At least I don't have to face all things that seem to go wrong all by myself. At least I am able to make a decision for myself.

So at the end of the day I am content with a scoop of ice cream, the faith that tomorrow will be a better day, and the love of my life next to me to make my problems seem minimal. It's all good.

One of my sweet brides just reminded me that I have not blogged yet. To be honest, I really think I would have not remembered without her reminder. I probably would have checked my e-mails, replied to the e-mails, updated my facebook, turned off the computer and called it a night. So a big thanks to my bride!

Here's a photo of total sweetness for all the sweet peeps out there :)

This wedding will be blogged next. I can't wait to show it to you! The couple is about to get their photos but I still want to share it with everyone.

Melissa & Miguel ~ Married!

There are not enough words to describe what a great couple Miguel and Melissa make. It's just as difficult to describe what amazing clients they are because, like I said, there are just not enough words. Not only do they treat each other with love and kindness, but they do the same with those around them. I am extremely happy they found us and chose us as their photographers :) We got lucky, I guess! Otherwise we would have not had the chance to know such a beautiful couple :)

Melissa & Miguel: Thank you, thank you, thank you! You guys were one of the most inviting, kind and down-to-earth people that we've had the honor of photographing. I knew you would be, from the first time I met you. Since day one I looked forward to your wedding. Once the day came it was exactly how I thought it would be. You made our job extremely easy. To be totally honest, our time seemed to fly by because it really felt like we were hanging out with friends. So for all that and more, we thank you!

I know you have been waiting to see some teasers, so here you go!

They are so cute!

I usually do the details before the ceremony, but we started with the ceremony so we did not get to see Melissa and Miguel until they walked up the aisle. Melissa was a great sport and even took her shoes off to get a shoe shot :) You know I had to get a shoe shot!

Do you like this one?

Or this one? :P

I could not decide which image to post from the three below so I posted all three :)

I had to find somewhere to squeeze this image in, because these little ones are so adorable!

Now on to the reception details!

Okay, I'll leave you with a photo booth photo.

It was about time I posted some eye candy, right?! There are so many weddings that still need to be blogged! As soon as I get some time I will try and post at least a few weddings back to back. Keep an eye out for them :)

P.S. I will be blogging some of my favorite vendors real soon. Among them is the reception venue in this wedding post. They were amazing to work with! More of that coming soon!

I did it again!

I had every intention to blog yesterday, but with so many things going on I did not notice 'til ten after 12:00 a.m. that I waited too late to blog! That's what happens, I guess!

Anyway, like the passed two times, I will check the e-mails and announce the winner on here.

I also want to remind all our clients that I will close our calendar for portrait booking at the end of the month. So if you want to book an e-session, family session or any other portrait session, be sure to do so as soon as possible. I will reopen the calendar in May, depending on how busy wedding season is keeping us and how booked we are for portrait sessions. Once we reopen booking for portrait session we will apply the new pricing. Also, pricing for wedding packages will also be going up by the end of the month, as a heads up.

If you have any questions, like always, please feel free to e-mail or call us.

A beautiful wedding coming up next!

Fun in the Rain!

These past few days have been really nice! When I was a teenager I loved summer. Nowadays, I really enjoy winter. I especially enjoy it when it rains. It helps motivate me. It makes me want to stay home, drink hot chocolate and edit non-stop. I love watching a movie with Art, curled up on our comfy sofa. I even enjoy going out in the rain and taking a walk. Don't tell my Father-In-Law, though! He is totally anti doing anything outdoors while it's pouring. I guess any normal person is!

You can tell that us Californians are not used to the rain. Every time I log on to Facebook you see so many posts about the rain, lighting, cold, etc., whether they are complaining about it or happy. I am one of those people posting (happy, of course) :P We are pretty spoiled here in Cali, when it comes to weather! We hardly get to bring out the winter wardrobe. Art makes fun of me because as soon as it starts raining I bring out the boots, pea coat, hats, umbrellas, scarfs, gloves, everything! Don't let it sprinkle because I am in full gear and ready!

Today, after running many errands, Art decided to get a few shots of me properly dressed for the weather. Usually it's only drizzling when I am dressed like the thunderstorm of the year is going on. Yes, most of the time I have to take off a couple of layers. This time it was a real thunderstorm, though!

I know I look silly, but Art told me to dance, I danced. He told me to jump, I jumped. He told me to run, I ran. He told me to run again, I said enough! Nothing beats dancing, jumping and simply having fun in the rain! Loved it!
