Happy Thanksgiving!

Although, I am thankful 365 days a year, 24/7, I want to take this time to tell our couples we are thankful we have them as one of our couples.

We are thankful that you trust us to photograph one of the most beautiful and memorable days of your life. We are thankful that you invite us with open arms to share next to your families all the love you have for one another. We are thankful you are kind to us. We are thankful that because we have so many amazing clients, we now have many amazing people who we call friends.

We are thankful that you crossed our paths because, no lie, each and every single couple has changed our life one way or another. I can name every single couple from the very first wedding we photographed to last weekend's wedding. All because we really are thankful to be part of your wedding day and the process leading up to it and even afterwards :)

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving, full of lots of food, family and love.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sammy & Ivan ~ Engaged!

Where can I start? Every once in a while I meet with a couple who secretly make me chant in my head "book us, book us!" Sammy and Ivan are one of those couples. They are super down to earth and laid back. It's extremely easy to just sit with them and chat.

I am so happy Sammy and Ivan decided on an engagement session because it's the best way to get to know our couple in front of the camera and off camera :) They chose The Lab and The Camp in Costa Mesa for their e-session. We had never been there or even heard about it. I have to say, they made a great choice! I loved the look of both locations. We got kicked out of The Camp, which was fine since we were almost done :P We still managed to get a few more shots before heading to The Lab, though!

Here are just a few of my favorite shots:

Here are a couple of images that I could not decide wether I liked color or black & white better.

Happy (belated) Halloween!

I hope everyone had fun on Halloween. Art and I had plans to go to Las Vegas this past weekend, but, unfortunately, we had to cancel. My rib is doing much better, but I thought it would be best to stay home and continue taking care of it before next weekend's wedding.

So Art and I ended up staying home, watching scary movies, and Art carved a Chucky pumpkin per my request. I did not even get to dress up in a costume :(

Check out Art's mad pumpkin carving skills!

You can check out his other pumpkins from past years here and here.

Check back later for some eye candy!
