Sneak Peek

Today Art and I photographed a beautiful morning wedding. When we left the wedding we came home ready to attack many to-do things on our list...we fell asleep, though :P I did edit some shots before falling asleep!

Here's a few:

Some of the coolest bridesmaids ever :)

Leaving Vegas Photo

I wished Art and I would have taken a lot of photos while we were in Vegas, but to be honest we probably took about 20 photos, at the most. What sucks even more is that we only have one good photo taken of us :( Out of 10 photos, only the photo below was in focus. It was super early in the morning and we were headed back to LA. As you can tell, I am not a morning person. That's the only excuse I have for that hair, outfit and makeup-less face :P

I will be blogging a wedding soon so come back soon!

Featured on Southern Weddings!

A few months ago I received an e-mail from Rachel of Southern Weddings asking if they could feature Morgan & Nick's wedding on their blog. As you can imagine, I was extremely excited! You see, they only feature work from the best photographers, most of which I am a big fan of! I seriously had to read the e-mail a second time to make sure the e-mail said what I thought it said :P

When I got back home from Las Vegas I was pleasantly surprised by Morgan and Nick's wedding being featured on Southern Weddings Blog. You can check out the entry by clicking here. While you're there check out their blog, it's a great resource for brides. It's full of creative ideas, beautiful details and inspirations for brides.

Off to Las Vegas

I am on my way out (again), but this time it's to Las Vegas :)

Before heading out, I wanted to share a photo from our Valentine's Day wedding :)

We'll be away until Wednesday. I hope to come back with tons of new ideas and full of knowledge from WPPI.

I will be retuning all e-mails on Thursday. Thanks for your patience!

We were proposed to!

A few weeks ago I met with a couple to go over their photography needs. I had been e-mailing with the bride to be for a few months so it was nice to finally meet her in person :) We chatted for about an hour and a half. We talked about photography (obviously), plans for the wedding, how they met, how Art and I met, my love for disney movies, the bride's love for disney movies :) We even talked sports. Even though we learned that the groom is a fan of a team that JUST GOT BEAT last week by the Lakers and that we lost to in the finals (can you tell I don't want to mention the name :P), it still did not make us like them any less.

Fast forward to yesterday when the bride e-mailed me a photo in which they ask us to photograph their wedding, or how she put it, they proposed to us :P It totally made my day! I was having a tough day and it brought a smile to my face.

Check out the cute photo!

They are the best, don't you agree? :)

Lisa & Rick ~ Married!

First Lutheran Church of El Monte
Rococo Room - Cafe Santorini
Pasadena, California

Lisa & Rick hired me over a year ago. Many, many weddings passed before their day finally came. Actually, many, many months passed before I even met Lisa in person! They don't live in California so we did everything through the beautiful world of the internet. When we finally met, I knew Lisa was fabulous! I met her right around my birthday so she brought along a yummy gift to satisfy my sweet tooth! MmmmmmHmmmmmm. It was good!

Art and I really enjoyed their wedding! They had a small intimate ceremony and reception. Everything went as planned. We got to walk around Pasadena and got some nice street shots. Their reception venue was also great! If you are considering the Rococo Room, I say go for it. From what I saw they are really attentive and the venue is perfect for a small wedding. The food was delicious as well :)

Now, on to the eye candy!

Lisa & Rick decided to see each other before the ceremony

I got this shot while Art got the one under it

This is why I love having Art as my partner in photography! Even though we were photographing the exact same thing, we both had our own vision. I love, love, love what he came up with! What I like best is that Lisa & Rick did not notice when Art was taking this shot.

I had to include the color version!

Do you like this one?

Or do you like this one better?

You know I love details!
