Fun times!

Los Angeles, California
Staples Center

Art, my wonderful hubby, surprised me with Lakers tickets for the first game of playoffs against the Denver Nuggets. It was so exciting! Not only did we sit a row behind the Lakers, but we also came out kissing on the big screen! *lol* That was the highlight of the game for Art :P

The funniest part of it all for me was when at one point Andrew Bynum came and sat right next to us and Art starts talking to him...when they finished their conversation Art tells him, “By the way, I want to introduce you to my wife,” like they had been big buds forever. Then he tells me, “Come on Nat, shake ‘Drew’s hand!” I seriously think Art was star struck, but he does not want to admit it!

What was also funny was getting phone calls from my little sis’ and cousin saying they saw us on tv. My little cousin kept texting us talking about, “Those nachos look good,” “Nat, you look upset at that foul,” “Stop eating those nachos, Nat.” It was pretty funny!

At the end of the game Art got to high five Kobe. I was hating! *lol*

We definitely had an awesome time. I loved the game (Lakers won), the nachos were yummy, and the “big screen kiss” rocked! Art gets tons of points for this surprise! Thanks, babe <3

Can you tell I went all out to make my image frame Lakers theme :P

Christy & Sergio ~ Married (Part Two)

Palm Springs, California
The Cielo Estate

As promised, here are some more photos from Christy and Sergio’s wedding.

I got a few e-mails from my brides asking if I was going to post some more photos from this wedding! I love knowing that you guys read my blog! That’s what motivates me to keep up to date with my blog! So with that said, leave comments! :)

On another note, Christy, who did all her floral arrangements, recently opened her business as a florist. So for any of the brides out there who want her info, send me an e-mail and I will be more than happy to give it to you. She is still working on her website, but as soon as it’s up I’ll post it on here.

Without further ado, some more images!

Here are more details!

This cake looked beautiful and tasted even better! A big shout out to Christy's mom for telling me to take some for the trip back home :) Yummy!

Pleasant Surprise

A few days back, when I opened my mailbox, I was surprised to receive an invite to one of the coolest weddings. Whose wedding? Amy and Hanssel's, of course! They will be getting married this summer in beautiful Puerto Vallarta! I am completely in love with their invites, especially the colors! So pretty! I can't wait for their wedding!

I am definitely blessed with some of the sweetest clients <3

Can you believe Amy did her own invites?! Way cool!

Christy & Sergio ~ Married!

Palm Springs, California
The Cielo Estate

I wonder what they will be like, I told Art the night before Christy and Sergio's wedding. I've had a few couples hire me without actually meeting in person and what they are like is something I always wonder. I can't help it.

When I talked to Christy and Sergio about their wedding, I could tell they were pretty mellow, but I still wondered what they would be like once we met. As I spoke to them over the phone, they asked that I focus a lot on the children and the details...they are couple after my own heart! They did not even have to ask me because that is just what I do, but I was glad they did request that because in its own way it showed me that we already had one thing in common!

I was actually a bit nervous when I got to the Cielo Estate. I did not know what to expect. You see, Sergio is a photographer as well, although not a wedding photographer. It is an honor to have another photographer pick me to photograph his wedding, but at the same time it can be a bit nerve wracking! Once I met him, I knew I had nothing to worry about! He was pretty clear that he likes my style and they just let me do my own thing, which I appreciate!

Actually, everyone made me feel super comfortable. When I walked into the home, I was greeted by Christy's mom who is a total sweetheart. Christy definitely did not stay behind! She was totally cool, calm and collected. I could not believe how calm she was, especially considering that she arranged all the floral decoration. Yes, ALL of it! Let me tell you, even the smallest of details were absolutely gorgeous! I was in detail and flower heaven! Everywhere I looked there was a floral arrangement.

This wedding will most likely have a follow up post. I have so many favorite images. Really, I have A LOT of favorites! Too many to just cut down to a few.

Here are the first few that I absolutely love!

Lets start off with some details

Moving on to the ceremony

How cute is he?!

I love this image!
