Engagement sessions rock!

This weekend I shot 3 wonderful engagement sessions! I can't express enough how important engagement sessions are. That's the time that you can get to know your photographer, become more comfortable around them, and get a feel of the way they work. Not only that, but it prepares you for what to expect on the day of the wedding. It also doesn't hurt that you'll get some beautiful images of the two of you!

It's also helpful for us, the photographers. We can get to know you better and find out if you are comfortable in front of the camera or if you need a little help with that ;) By the wedding day you will be a total pro!

Every time I am done shooting an engagement session I leave the session totally smitten by my clients :) I get to know them on a personal level and not only as my clients, which to me is very important. I really think it shows in images when you have a connection with the client because they are just that much more comfortable in front of the camera.

With all that said, here is a teaser from each of the engagement sessions from this weekend. I have 3 full posts coming up soon :)

Long Beach, CA

Mission Inn -Riverside

Hermosa Beach, CA

These are real teasers, aren't they?!

Where in LB is that first pic at? I don't think I've ever seen anything that would look that pretty in a photo.
