Happy Birthday to me!

It's 12:05 and Art and I are up celebrating my b-day :)

I will be out of the office the whole day. I will return all calls and e-mails on 9/27.

Happy Birthday to all the 9/26 babies out there!

Here's a photo Art snapped of me right after 12:00 a.m. Don't I look tired? I have been editing all night...but, it's time to call it a night!

Marisa & Ruben ~ Married!

Luminaria's - Monterey Park

I always try and only post under 15 of my favorites, but this time I went way over the 15!

I photographed Marisa and Ruben's wedding reception. When I got to Luminaria's (their venue) I was blown away by how gorgeous and elegant everything looked. From the "Do-it-Yourself" flowers to the amazing lighting, everything was stunning.

I'll start you off with some of the detail shots.

Can you believe Marisa and her family did these amazing centerpieces?!

The lighting set up the mood for a romantic and elegant atmosphere. I loved it!

These are definitely some of my favorite favors.

Can't get enough of these arrangements!

Again, the lighting made everything look great!

Marisa's parents toasting the new Mr. & Mrs. You could tell how proud they are of both Marisa and Ruben.

Marisa and Ruben hugged and kissed all night. It was obvious to everyone how happy the two are together.

There are a couple of images that I ABSOLUTELY love in both color and black & white so I included both.

Marisa looked at Ruben this way all night long. Can you tell she is in love?

When it was time to toss the bouquet, Marisa came out dancing...

...and her girls joined in.

When It was time for the garter toss, Marisa had a very special surprise for Ruben...

however, it took long for them to walk through the door so the DJ was trying to stall and Ruben just stared at everyone confused :)

but when he saw these guys walk through the door it all made sense!

Can you tell how excited everyone got?

Even up in the air, he was still representing :D

After all the excitement it was time to get their boogie on!

Mary Jane & Darryl ~ Married!

Mary Jane and Darryl live in Canada so I did not meet them until the day of their wedding. I always get butterflies in my stomach when I am about to meet one of my couple's without having had an interview beforehand. They are not bad butterflies. I guess it's the anticipation of finally meeting them!

When I met Mary Jane she looked radiant. She is not only beautiful on the outside, but just as beautiful on the inside. What about Darryl? Well, he is just as great as Mary Jane. They are both down-to-earth, genuine people.

I do not know what have I done (or not done) to deserve such great couples, but I am thankful for being blessed over and over again and again with such amazing couples!

I was so honored to have my name included with their family members and friends! It really touched me :)

When I took this photo, we were all pretty nervous because the officiant was not showing. At one point Darryl asked me, "So Nataly, are you ready to marry us?" He really kept a great attitude about the whole ordeal. Thankfully the officiant got there...eventually!

This is my favorite image. I actually did not mean to take this image. I was testing out the settings and took a test shot, but when I saw the image I LOVED it! It just says so much to me by showing so little. This is the moment when every bride is walking towards their future. When it has finally come together and it's time for the "I do's." I love it!

I love Mary Jane's expression in this one.

I love, love, love this image!

Mary Jane's Maid of Honor, Karla, was awesome! She, along with everyone else, made me feel so welcome. She let me know that she reads my blog and I cannot express how happy people make me when they let me know that. It would be way too sad if I were to be writing all of this and no one would read :p So if you're reading this Karla, HI! Also, let me know when you and your boyfriend get married because I would love to go to Canada ;D Hey, you did catch the bouquet, you know!
